The goal of debating is development of critical thinking skills and rational consideration of both positions (proposition and opposition alike) in a given case. Each debater has to adhere to the rules of discussion (speaking order and speech time), so that the debate wouldn\u2019t turn into a fight.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"DE\" style=\"font-size: 14pt; line-height: 21.4667px;\">Each argument should be composed of 4 parts: statement, analysis(reasons), example and impact.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol style=\"font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span lang=\"DE\" style=\"font-size: 14pt; line-height: 21.4667px;\">Statement<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"DE\" style=\"font-size: 14pt; line-height: 21.4667px;\">&nbsp;is the sentence which presents the main idea of the argument.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span lang=\"DE\" style=\"font-size: 14pt; line-height: 21.4667px;\">The idea then needs to be developed and explained through&nbsp;<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">analysis.<\/span>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span lang=\"DE\" style=\"font-size: 14pt; line-height: 21.4667px;\">In order to make the argument more convincing and less prone to rebuttal it is recommended to&nbsp;<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">give examples.<\/span>(eg. current, historical or statistical) which supports the stated argument.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><span lang=\"DE\" style=\"font-size: 14pt; line-height: 21.4667px;\">Through&nbsp;<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">impacts<\/span>&nbsp;explain how the argument contributes to the debate and how it influences the situation that is being discussed.&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">\n<\/p><p style=\"font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">\n<\/p><p class=\"MsoListParagraphCxSpLast\" style=\"font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; background-color: var(--ast-global-color-4); color: var(--ast-global-color-3);\">&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Apart from it is advised to give your arguments short rhetorically interesting names.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Debata je usmena, formalna diskusija, koja se temelji na struktuisanom izno\u0161enju argumenata.
